The American Silver Eagle coins are well known silver bullion coins and legal tender. The American Silver Eagle is minted by the United States Mint since 1986.
The coins come in tubes, containing 20 coins per tube.

Silver (and additional services such as delivery, certificate of authenticity, etc.) is taxed at 8,1% in Switzerland, whether ingots or coins. In some European countries, the VAT rate is lower for coins than for ingots. In other European countries it is identical. In France, for example, the same rate applies to silver ingots and coins. If delivery is in Switzerland, Swiss VAT applies to silver (but gold is exempt). If delivery is to outside Switzerland, the customs duties and VAT of the destination country apply and must be paid by the recipient upon receiving the parcel.
